Danylo "Dendi" Ishutin, the player who won the first Dota 2 World Championship, reached the incredible milestone of 2000 games on the professional stage. This is an incredible result that less than twenty players in the world can boast of.

The legendary Dendi

Dendi began his Dota 2 career with the Ukrainian team Natus Vincere and quickly rose to fame after winning The International in 2011, followed by two second-place finishes in 2012 and 2013. By the way, at the triumphant TI, Danylo became the best player of the tournament.

Apparently, the old-timers still remember that unforgettable "hook on the fountain" strategy, when the Ukrainian mid played on Pudge, and his then-captain Klement "Puppey" Ivanov on Chen, which allowed "Born to Win" to get to the finals of TI3.

2000 game mark

And so, already playing in the self-created B8 team, Dendi played his 2000th game on the professional Dota 2 scene. The anniversary game took place during the closed qualifier of ESL One Birmingham 2024 against NAVI Junior , in the first round of the lower bracket. Unfortunately for Danylo and his teammates, this is the game ended in defeat with a score of 1:2.

For Dendi, and in general for any player, such an impressive figure of 2000 played maps is the result of fruitful work and considerable dedication to his work over many years. All-time, Dendi has an average KDA of 4.32 and a winning percentage of 55.7%. He has 8,268 kills, 5,068 assists and 5,156 kills.

Before him, only 16 players achieved such a result, and the leader is Tal "Fly" Isaac (2568 played maps). Danyla's aforementioned teammate - Puppey (2498) and another of his NaVi partners - Kuro "KuroKy" Tahasomi (2447) are also among the top three.

This achievement confirms Dendi's status as one of the most famous and successful Dota 2 players of all time, with a large fan base around the world who can be sure that he will continue to contribute to the professional Dota 2 scene for years to come.
