More about Dendi
Danylo Ishutin (Dendi) is an e-sportsman of Ukrainian origin, a former member of the e-sports team Na'Vi, as part of which he won the first ever Dota 2 championship - The International.
His e-sports career began at the age of 17, when in 2006 he received an invitation to the Ukrainian e-sports team WG (Wolker Gaming), repeatedly showing successful matches at the local level. Playing in the DTS Gaming and Kingsurf.int teams until 2010, he had time to play with the stars of the e-sports scene of Ukraine and beyond, among them: Yaroslav "NS" Kuznetsov, Dmytro "LighTofHeaveN" Kupriyanov, Andriy "Dread" Golubev and other famous names. In the DTS team, Dendi performed in support positions in DotA. During his time, DTS became one of the most successful teams in the world. At the Electronic Sports World Cup, DTS lost to the Chinese from the EHOME team, but already at the end of that year they took revenge at the "World Dota Championship" tournament.
And after the victory at this tournament, Danyla's professional career underwent drastic changes, such as signing a contract with Na`Vi and changing the discipline from DotA to Dota 2. Already in Natus Vincere, Dendi was assigned almost the most important role in the team - mider. In 2011, the team receives an invitation to Koln, for the first ever The International, in the final of which the boys beat EHOME for the second time with a crushing score of 3:1. Victory in this championship brings the team not only a prize fund in the amount of 1 million dollars, but also global popularity for the boy himself, moreover, he becomes a kind of "calling card" of Na'Vi and during the next few years he takes part in every The International. In 2012-2013, Na`Vi lost a match against Invictus Gaming and The Alliance, the latter of which became the most famous match in Dota 2 history.
As part of Na'Vi for 4 years (2011-2014), the boy became a seven-time StarLadder champion and a two-time winner of the Electronic Sports World Cup.
In addition, Danylo's trademark was his Pudge game. In 2014, a documentary was made about Dota 2 players, where Dendi was one of three eSports players to be featured in the film. Na'Vi was not invited to The International in 2017, but Danilo did appear in the arena, playing two matches against a specially designed AI-based training bot for professional players, both of which he lost.
In 2018, Na'Vi announced a new team composition, where Dendi no longer received a place, but a decision was made to include the boy in the team's "Hall of Fame", and the player's supporters created a bunch of short videos in support of him. The contract with Natus Vincere was officially terminated only in 2019, but even before the boy became a free agent, he also played for Team Secret, Vega Squadron and Fly To The Moon. As a substitute player, Danylo also played for the Tigers from January to April 2019, and already in the summer, the boy became a member of The Pango team, which participated in the qualifying competitions at The International that year. The team itself did not make it to the championship that year, but Dendi appeared on the scene as an analyst.
In 2020, Danylo already presented his own e-sports team called B8 Esports, which, in addition to Dendi himself, included LeBronDota, Ghostik, KingR and pio65, the latter, by the way, previously played only in the youth team of Pavaga Gaming.
As an announcement of the creation of B8 Esports, Danylo published a video where he showed himself in old age.
The best performance of B8 was demonstrated in 2020, taking 5th place at the WePlay tournament! Dota 2 Tug of War: Mad Moon, taking home $12,000 in prize money.
And already in May, Danylo Ishutin's team set a real anti-record, losing 24 matches in a row.
