Group stage
- Twelve teams (six invited and one team from six regional qualifying tournaments)
- Three groups, four teams each
- Second Chance Group Matches (GSL) format, meaning a team leaves the tournament after two defeats
- The last two teams from each group are eliminated, the second-placed teams advance to the quarterfinals
- The top three teams in the groups play each other in an additional Bo1 series to determine which two teams advance to the semi-finals and which team joins the three second-placed teams in the quarter-finals
Playoff stage
- The play-offs take place from 25 to 27 May 2019, in front of a live audience at the Birmingham Arena
- The format of the playoff stage is until the first defeat
- All games except the Grand Final will be Bo3
