Team Spirit - Serbia — Dota 2 team

Team Spirit is an international team based in Serbia, which develops its skills in the Dota 2, Counter-Strike, and Hearthstone arenas. The team appeared in December 2015 and after a short time showed good results: for example, they qualified for the first season of the StarLadder i-League series.

The team included Goblak, AfterLife, Iceberg, ALWAYSWANNAFLY, RAMZES666.

History of the creation of Team Spirit

After the appearance of the team and the first roster, the players confidently began to show their skills and participate in tournaments. Team Spirit took first place at ProDotA Cup Europe #1, as well as 3-4 positions at Christmas Charity Magic. This allowed the team to qualify for Shanghai Major 2016 and get 13-16th place, taking home a prize fund of $30,000.

RAMZES666 and AfterLife were the first to leave the lineup, after which confusion and frequent lineup changes began. Many came, but did not stay long. This led to Team Spirit completely ceasing to exist in 2016.

Nevertheless, in 2017, Iceberg, 633, fng, DkPhobos, VANSKOR decided to get together again, which turned out quite well: the tournaments and championships in which they took part over the next six months were successful. Before TI 2017, we once again had to change the lineup.

Instability continued for five years. In 2021, the team rebranded and changed the logo, which, by the way, was invented by the world famous sports company Nike. That same year, Team Spirit won TI 2021, receiving $18,000,000 in prize money (this is the most record amount in eSports).

After Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine, the team decided to move its office from Moscow to Belgrade.

The team also has its own staff, which for 2023 includes:

• trainer – Silent (Gaziev Airat, Russia);

• analyst – sikle (Lerman Mark, Russia);

• manager – DKLana (Berest Ruslana, Ukraine);

• manager - Korb3n (Dmitry Belov);

• CEO – Cheshir (Chukalin Nikita).

Gamers participate in competitions and improve their ranking positions among others.

The team has existed for a long time, and it doesn’t care about the constant change of players. If we analyze the last two years of Team Spirit’s activities and its activity at events, we can note a mostly stable situation.

The very understanding that Team Spirit took 2 of the largest prize pools in the history of not only Dota 2, but throughout eSports, says something about the team that it is truly the number 1 team in the world!
