More about the team 9 Pandas
A relatively young team, founded on April 17, 2023. They are based in Serbia, but in fact, all players are russian. The team is developing not only in the Dota 2 arena, they also play in Counter-Strike. Moreover, 9 pandas is a well-known advertising agency. It carries out and implements a large number of projects in the world of esports (Dota 2 is one of the directions).
Team creation history
Beginner Dota 2 players, seeing the date of the team's appearance, naively believe that the team consists of beginners with minimal skills and no experience. The key word is naively.
Before talking about creation, it's worth remembering HellRaisers, who won prizes in tournaments, for example, they took second place in Dota Pit League Season 1. But due to disagreements and discord, players began to leave the team and transfer to stronger teams with a solid lineup.
Let's go back to 9 pandas. In 2023, specifically in April, HellRaisers joined 9 pandas and embarked on the path of continuing their career in the Dota 2 arena. The lineup included Solo (captain), kiyotaka, RAMZES666, MieRo, and Antares. Later, their ranks were replenished with HellRaisers staff and CEO Krооkiе.
This name change was necessary to participate in the Berlin Major 2023 tournament and due to the complete absence of the ability to participate in matches and other esports events. HellRaisers immediately accepted the offer of "pandas" as they needed rehabilitation in the arena, and it would have been incredibly difficult for the "pandas", especially in the midst of the season.
Other teams responded favorably to this union, calling it an "ideal match", since 9 pandas are great marketers, and HellRaisers are decent esports players.
As of 7.06.2023, the team's lineup looks like this:
Solo (Russia, Alexey Berezin) - team captain, fifth position support;
RAMZES666 (Russia, Roman Kushnarev) - carry;
Kiyotaka (Russia, Gleb Ziryannov) - midder;
MieRo` (Russia, Matvey Vasyunin) - offlaner;
Antares (Russia, Vladislav Kertman) - fourth position support.
In addition, the team also has its staff, including Nofear (Alexander Churochkin, coach), strategic director Inverno (Maria Gunina), Jamba (team manager Aldar Djambinov), CEO Krookie (Adalyat Mamedov).
The lineup can change, and the current lineup can be viewed at any time on this page. Although, judging by the mood of the team, no changes are expected in the near future.
Team activity in matches and tournaments
In the first month of its existence, 9 pandas managed to participate in two tournaments, and was invited to another one:
ESL One Berlin Major 2023 - the team took third place in the ranking, receiving 75,000 dollars and 400 DPC points;
DPC EEU 2023 (third round, first division) - the tournament is in progress, it will end on June 4, 2023; the actual results are available on the website;
DreamLeague Season 20 - June 11, 2023, the result of matches held as part of the tournament, and the final ranking can also be viewed in the tournament section.
Overall, the peculiar rebranding helped the team to climb to the TOP, if compared to what was with the team before. Match activity also shows a good picture, for example, the advantage in the playoff finals or tie matches. It's still better than regular losses.
