The first part of the group stage
- There are 16 teams participating in the tournament: 5 teams from Western Europe, 3 teams from North America, 2 teams each from Eastern Europe, South America, China and Southeast Asia.
- The first part of the group stage will take place on April 9-12, 2023.
- The first part of the group stage consists of a single round-robin stage. This is a tournament system in which each team meets every other team only once.
- All matches are played in the Bo2 format.
- The first four places advance to the second part of the group stage.

- The winner of the tournament qualifies for the Riyadh Masters 2023.
